Cellulite Removal Through Injection

One method of cellulite removal is called Mesotherapy. Mesotherapy induces cellulite removal through injection. Cellulite is the result of pockets of fat cells becoming overstuffed and then puckering up at the top. The fat cells bulge over the edges of the pockets. This happens when fluid retention stops signals to the pockets to release fat cells, and so the pockets keep hoarding the cells. Additionally, the connective tissue between the pockets becomes hard and rigid, preventing the pockets from holding as many fat cells. The combination of not releasing fat cells and having rigid walls surrounding the fat cells leads to the bulging effect, and that is when we see the dimples heralding cellulite.

How cellulite removal with Mesotherapy works

Mesotherapy involves direct injections into the affected areas. Cellulite removal takes place as the solution (composed of detergent - yep, detergent - and enzymes) sort of dissolve the fat. The injections do not require that you go on a special cellulite diet or exercise to reduce cellulite. They do not require anything other than receiving the injections. This makes them somewhat popular, as they require minimal effort.

The treatment first appeared in France about 50 years ago, and has since then been used throughout Europe. It is available in the United States, but the practice is unregulated. It is recommended that if you choose Mesotherapy for cellulite removal that you see an actual medical doctor or plastic surgeon to ensure the quality and safety of your cellulite treatment. It is important to note that initial Mesotherapy injections will cause bruising and some tenderness around the affected areas. It is best to have the treatments at least two weeks apart, to ensure that your system is not poisoned by too much of the solution.

Cellulite removal through Mesotherapy, since it does actually reduce fat, can result in smaller thighs and buttocks. A smoother and tighter appearance usually results from this treatment. However, you are not likely to lose weight through this process. Diet and exercise are the best ways to naturally reduce cellulite, but Mesotherapy can work for those who prefer a less strenuous route to cellulite reduction.
